Urgency levels in haptic feedback
1. Informational: (Lowest urgency)
- Purpose: Just to inform the user, not demand immediate action.
- Pattern: Light, single buzz.
- Example: “Your statement is ready.”
2. Success: (Positive, but not urgent)
- Purpose: Celebrate or confirm a positive outcome.
- Pattern: Short, uplifting double buzz.
- Example: “You’ve reached your savings goal.”
3. Warning: (Medium urgency)
- Purpose: Draw attention, but not panic.
- Pattern: Gentle, noticeable pulse.
- Example: “You’ve used 90% of your budget.”
4. Error: (High urgency)
- Purpose: Alert user immediately that something went wrong.
- Pattern: Firm, sharp thump or short repeating buzz.
- Example: “Payment failed.”
5. Critical/Urgent: (Highest urgency)
- Purpose: Impossible to ignore, requires immediate action.
- Pattern: Strong, repeating vibration
- Example: “Suspicious login attempt detected.”
